Business Development Manager

£40,000 Basic Salary | OTE £70,000+ | Remote/Field Based

Are you a driven business development professional who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning new business?

We're working with a well-established and growing UK manufacturer that is investing heavily in its sales team and looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across a thriving B2B market.

This is a genuine hunter role where success comes from identifying opportunities, building strong commercial relationships, and converting prospects into long-term customers.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of developing new business opportunities across the UK, working with a range of manufacturing, fabrication and installation businesses.

This is a varied role combining prospecting, relationship building, customer visits, networking and industry events. You'll have the freedom to develop your own pipeline while being supported by a respected business with a strong reputation and ambitious growth plans.

What You'll Be Doing

• Generating and developing new business opportunities, identifying decision-makers and building relationships from scratch
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals
• Growing accounts by introducing additional products and services
• Attending customer meetings, industry exhibitions and networking events
• Maintaining an accurate and active CRM pipeline
• Building a strong market presence within your territory
• Delivering against agreed sales targets and growth objectives

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in a B2B business development or sales role
• Strong track record of winning new business
• Confident prospecting and engaging with senior decision-makers
• A proactive, self-motivated and resilient approach
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
